Load Bank TESTER LUK-6

Load bank TESTER LUK-6 is designed to control and automatically evaluate selected parameters of the ground power units (GPU) for aircraft ground handling. With TESTER LUK-6 the steady state d.c. voltage and d.c. current ripples, as well as a.c. voltage and frequency, can be tested for compliance with PN-IS06858 standard.

The device has two input sockets for interoperability with ground power units (GPU):

  • SzRAP 500 (for connecting 28 V d.c. outgoing cable)
  • SzRAP 400-3F (for connecting 3 x 115 V/200 V a.c., 400 Hz outgoing cable) The performance is automatically tested:
  • for 28 V d.c. voltage: 0 A, 50 A, 500 A
  • for 3 x 115 V / 200 V a.c. voltage: 0 A, 11 A, 111 A

The results are signalled on the operator’s console.
Positive result – green colour
Negative result – red colour
